How to deal with a Cracked or Broken Tooth

There are many ways in which one can suddenly find oneself with a cracked tooth or a broken tooth.

These include biting into something hard, grinding of the teeth, falling and impacting the teeth taking a blow to the face or mouth, gum disease, cavities which weaken the tooth, or old amalgam fillings which can no longer support the tooth enamel.

A minor cracked or break may not be painful at first, but major damage can be instantly painful, as the nerve inside the tooth can be affected and this is deemed as a dental emergency. Tooth pain is one of the worst pains there is.
