From small beginnings in a Redcliffe arcade over 40 years ago to where we are now.. Over the years, John Street Dental has been committed to providing excellent homely care to thousands of patients and stands out as one of the largest Dental practices on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
John Street Dental first began in February of 1976 as P J Houston Dental in a Redcliffe Arcade near the Redcliffe Jetty. This location thrived and grew with a huge patient following due to Peter Houston’s friendly nature and excellent clinical skills. It was decided in 1992 that a big move was required to a bigger premise on the Redcliffe Peninsula. 116 John Street in Redcliffe became available and was converted from a four bedroom brick home to the spacious homely dental surgery that we all know and love today.
It was in 2009 that Dr David Houston joined the John Street team. We started off with two dentists and today we have a total of six highly skilled dentists on board who can provide the best care in all areas of general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry including Orthodontics, dental implants and even Cosmetic Fillers. Over the years we have upgraded to having four dental surgery rooms in house all fitted with leading ADEC 500 Dental chairs and digital mounted TVs in all surgeries in order to make your appointment a more enjoyable, comfortable experience. We have also had a major technology upgrade in the last five years, with the 20,000 paper patient files being converted to digital records as well as an upgrade to a cutting edge digital x-ray system.
