At John Street Dental we practice minimal invasive dentistry. That’s why we use dental inlays and dental onlays, as they are a more conservative restorative solution than a dental crown with only a minimal amount of tooth structure needing to be removed. A dental inlay sits ‘in’ while a dental onlay is placed ‘on’ a tooth and are sometimes referred to as an indirect filling.
inlays & onlays Redcliffe are most often used to restore back teeth that have mild to moderate decay or have broken or worn down teeth. Inlays and onlays are also used to repair teeth that have cracked or sustained minor damage in an accident or suffered a sporting injury
These restorations are durable and typically made from porcelain, composite resin at your appointment or gold in a dental laboratory from impression moulds. Inlays and onlays that will be seen are colour matched your natural tooth enamel and allow you to retain an aesthetically pleasing smile.
Following a comprehensive examination, the John Street Dental team will advise if an inlay or onlay is the most appropriate solution for you and develop a personalised treatment plan.
When complete, your inlay or onlay is secured using a specially formulated dental bonding material.
We are located at 116 John St, Redcliffe QLD 4020.
