Wisdom Teeth

indexYour wisdom teeth are the third set of molar teeth, they usually errupt anywhere between the ages of 17yrs to 25yrs.

Wisdom teeth may not always be needed to be removed it is dependent on each individual case! The most common cause for wisdom teeth

removal is that they are impacted, this means that there is not enough room for them to fit in your jaw causing them to become impacted against the other teeth.

Impacted wisdom teeth can occasionally be so close to the teeth in front that this often causes decay to develop. It can also be impossible sometimes to clean the wisdom teeth properly due to them being only partially errupted as well as where their position in your mouth.
