The basics

A Natural, Custom Finish for Your Smile

Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made restorations designed to cover the front surface of selected teeth. They can help improve the shape, colour and overall appearance of teeth that are chipped, worn, uneven, spaced or discoloured.

Each veneer is carefully planned to suit your smile, facial features and the surrounding teeth. The aim is a result that looks balanced, natural and still feels like you.

Why patients choose veneers

What Veneers Can Help With

Improve several concerns at once

Veneers can help improve the shape, colour, spacing and appearance of worn or chipped teeth, creating a more balanced smile.

Designed to look natural

Each veneer is carefully designed to complement your smile and surrounding teeth, with the aim of achieving a natural-looking result.

Resistant to staining

Porcelain veneers are more resistant to staining than natural teeth, helping them maintain their appearance over time.

Made for long term

With good oral hygiene and regular dental care, porcelain veneers can last for many years before they may need repair or replacement.

What to expect

Your Veneer Treatment, Step by Step

Consultation & planning

We’ll talk through what you’d like to change, assess your teeth and smile and discuss what may be realistically achievable with veneers.

Preparation & scans

If veneers are suitable for you, we’ll prepare your teeth as needed and take detailed scans or impressions so your veneers can be made accurately. We’ll also provide a clear treatment estimate before you proceed.

Your veneers are made

Your custom porcelain veneers are carefully designed and shade-matched to complement your smile. Temporary veneers may be placed while your final veneers are being made.

Fit & placement

Once your veneers are ready, we’ll check the fit, shape, colour and bite before bonding them securely in place. We’ll also talk you through how to care for them afterwards.

Good to know

Dental Veneer Questions

How Do I Know If Veneers Are Right for Me?

Veneers may be an option if you’d like to change the shape, colour, size or appearance of your front teeth. They can also be used for concerns such as worn edges, small gaps or chipped teeth. We’ll assess your teeth and gums first, listen to what you’d like to change and explain whether veneers or another treatment may be more suitable for you.

Each veneer is carefully planned around your existing teeth, smile and facial features. We’ll work with you to choose the shape and shade so the result complements your overall smile and still feels like you.

Some tooth preparation may be needed depending on your teeth and the type of veneer being used. The amount can vary from person to person.

Your dentist will assess your teeth and explain exactly what would be involved before you decide to proceed.

Porcelain veneers are considered a long-term treatment, and in many cases some tooth preparation is required. This means the treatment is generally not considered reversible.

We’ll talk you through this carefully before treatment so you understand what’s involved and can decide whether veneers are right for you.

Porcelain veneers can last for many years with good oral hygiene, regular dental care and appropriate maintenance, although every patient is different.

We’ll check your veneers at your regular visits and let you know if anything needs attention over time.
