Pick the tooth up by the crown, not the root if possible and avoid touching or scrubbing the root surface. If it’s an adult tooth, keep it moist in milk and call us straight away. If you’re unsure what to do, phone us on (07) 3284 4281 and our team can guide you. Acting quickly can improve the chance of saving the tooth.

Absolutely. We understand that dental emergencies can feel even more stressful when you’re already anxious about treatment. We’ll take the time to explain what’s happening, move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and check in with you throughout your visit. If needed, we can also discuss whether sedation may be suitable for you.

Yes. Once we’ve assessed the problem, we’ll explain the treatment options and expected costs clearly before anything goes ahead.

If more than one option is available, we’ll talk you through each one so you can decide what feels right for you.
