Services
Feeling nervous about dental treatment? We understand that dental treatment can feel overwhelming, so our experienced team takes things gently and offers options such as happy gas to help you feel more comfortable. IV sedation is also available to all of our patients following an assessment, and is administered by a highly trained anaesthetist.
The idea
For some people, dental anxiety isn’t a small thing, it’s the reason they avoid treatment for years. Sleep dentistry offers a way through: with IV sedation you stay safely relaxed and comfortable, often with little memory of the visit, so the care you’ve been avoiding finally feels possible.
What's included
Feel more relaxed and comfortable during your visit if anxiety has made dental treatment difficult in the past.
IV sedation may help you feel more comfortable and at ease during more involved wisdom tooth procedures.
Sedation may make it easier to complete several procedures during one longer, more comfortable appointment.
Why patients choose us
Your sedation is carefully managed, with close monitoring throughout your appointment.
We combine sedation with a calm, supportive approach to help make your experience feel easier and more comfortable.
Sedation may make it possible to complete longer or multiple treatments in fewer appointments, while keeping you comfortable throughout.
No matter how long it’s been since your last dental visit, you’re always welcome. We’ll work with you at a pace that feels comfortable and help you get your oral health back on track.
Ready when you are
If anxiety has kept you away, let’s change that gently. Leave your details and we’ll call to talk through sleep dentistry, no pressure.
Tell us how we can help and the best time to contact you. Our team will get back to you to arrange an appointment that suits.
We accept all health funds.
Good to know
Not necessarily. IV sedation helps you feel deeply relaxed and drowsy. Many patients doze during treatment and remember very little afterwards. Your sedation is carefully managed, and you’ll be closely monitored throughout your appointment.
IV sedation is generally considered safe for suitable patients when it is administered and monitored appropriately. Before treatment, we’ll review your medical history and assess whether sedation is right for you. You’ll also be closely monitored throughout your appointment.
IV sedation may be helpful for patients who feel anxious about dental treatment, have a strong gag reflex, or are having longer or more complex procedures. We’ll discuss your medical history, treatment needs and concerns with you to determine whether IV sedation is a suitable option.
Yes. After IV sedation, you’ll need a responsible adult to take you home and stay with you for a period of time afterwards. We’ll provide clear instructions before your appointment so you know exactly what to arrange.
